Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Defending F2000 Championship team HP-Tech Motorsport today announced the signing of 15-year-old Santino Ferrucci for the remainder of the 2013 season, expanding to two cars as the young talent will join 17-year-old Championship contender Roberto Lorena in a second Van Diemen.

Sharon, CT – On Saturday June 29 at Watkins Glen International, round eight of the 2013 F2000 Championship Series season will mark the 100th race in Series history. Dating back to VIR in 2006, when just over 10 cars took the green flag, the Championship has grown and prospered, solidifying its place in open-wheel racing in North America.

Lauderdale, FL – With frigid temperatures and sheets of rain falling at Lime Rock Park, Roberto Lorena practiced patience and brought home a third and second place pair of results for defending F2000 Championship winning team HP-Tech Motorsport. Lorena survived some of the most treacherous conditions he has yet to see in his young career, expertly piloting the No. 9 HP-Tech Van Diemen during rounds five and six of the 2013 F2000 season.

Lakeville, CT – Kyle Connery grabbed the lead on lap one from the outside front row in the rain at Lime Rock Park and never looked back, pulling out a huge margin to win over Roberto Lorena and Federico Monsconi, in a podium sweep for Van Diemens and aspiring racers. Connery took his first win since 2011 at Watkins Glen International and made up ground in his Championship pursuit.

Lakeville, CT – Five races, five wins, and this time it was in a full wet race at Lime Rock Park for Tim Minor and the No. 88 Ski Motorsports Citation. Minor held onto the lead the entire race, which ran to a time window because of multiple full-course-cautions, and won ahead of Kevin Kopp and Roberto Lorena in what turned out to be a game of survival for most of the field.
