Watkins Glen, New York (May 23, 2016) – Between frigid temperatures and changing track conditions at Watkins Glen international, including snow on Sunday morning, setup was a full-on guessing game for Exclusive Autosport and its drivers in last weekend’s F1600 Formula F and F2000 Championship Series races.

Watkins Glen, NY - From pole, Steve Bamford led all laps to win round four of the 2016 F2000 season on Sunday afternoon at Watkins Glen. Bamford led a hard-charging David Grant on the initial start, and fended off an attack on a restart to win his third race of the season and extend his points lead. Grant finished second for Polestar, while John McCusker charged to third late in the race for the final podium spot in cold weather conditions.

Watkins Glen, NY - The skies opened in dramatic fashion mid-way through the F2000 Championship Series race, turning Watkins Glen International into an ice-rink and allowing 2006 F2000 Champion Matt McDonough to score victory in a lap that took over three minutes and 20 seconds in a race of survival to the checkered flag. Jayson Clunie finished second and Robert Wright slammed the inside pit wall trying to steal the win in a side-ways drag race to the checkered flag, and settled for third.

WATKINS GLEN, New York. (May 13, 2016) – While the Mazda Road to Indy is busy at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Mazda Road to 24 is sharing the pavement at Watkins Glen International with several series including the Formula Race Promotions' Atlantic Championship Series and the F2000 Championship Series. This made for ideal timing to announce a new Mazda Motorsport partnership supporting Mazda racers competing in the two SCCA Pro Racing open-wheel championships.

Watkins Glen, NY - Phillippe Denes, David Grant and Ryan Norman were fastest in Friday practice in F1600, F2000 and Atlantic, respectively, at Watkins Glen International. It is the second event of the 2016 Formula Race Promotions season, with seven races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
