Salem, NH – Formula Race Promotions (FRP) heads into its season finale at VIRginia International Raceway this weekend with four drivers eligible for the F1600 Formula F Championship Series title, which all comes down to this final triple-header weekend. With overall driver Championships already having been decided in F2000 and Atlantic, entrants will look to end the season with outright victories and build momentum for 2017.

Salem, NH - Tumenas Motorsports has enjoyed a strong season in F2000 Championship Series competition with Steve Jenks, and is now expanding its program to offer a karts-to-cars system for aspiring drivers, moving them from karting into both F1600 and F2000.

Salem, NH - A group of 10 engineering students from Temple University, all part of the school's Formula SAE program, linked up with the Atlantic, F2000 and F1600 Championship Series during August. The students joined the Championships for both the Pittsburgh and New Jersey rounds, getting an up close look at the motorsports world with Angelo Zarra, president of ANZE Engineering, a prominent race suspension design company.

Salem, NH – Hoosier Racing Tire and Formula Race Promotions (FRP), which organizes the Atlantic, F2000 and F1600 Championship Series, today announced a three-year contract renewal which will see Hoosier remain the official tire of all three Championships through the 2019 season.

Millville, NJ - With two laps to go, Trent Walko took the race lead and went on to take his first career F2000 Championship Series victory with a win on Sunday in round 12 of the season at New Jersey Motorsports Park in the No. 82 Team Pelfrey Van Diemen/Mazda. Walko started from pole and spent the entire race battling Brandon Dixon, having to chase him down from two seconds back. Dixon would finish second following his Saturday victory, while John McCusker made it two podiums in two days with a third place run.

Millville, NJ - After a string of second place starts, Trent Walko took his first ever F2000 Championship Series pole position in Sunday morning qualifying at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Walko's 1:17.951 for Team Pelfrey gave him the pole ahead of Steve Bamford, Brandon Dixon and John McCusker. Check out the full qualifying order here.
